Durant le premier weekend de septembre, nous sommes partis au bord de la Mer Noire, dans la petite ville de Primorsko. C'était la première fois que nous allions à l'est de la Bulgarie, au bord de la Mer Noire et la région était vraiment agréable.
La raison de notre séjour à Primorsko était très précise : Wim avait décidé de participer, avec 2 collègues, à un ultra cross triathlon le samedi.
Lion's Heart se déroulait pour la 4ème édition. 2 membres du staff de notre société, Ivena et Todor, sont membres du comité d'organisation. Bien entendu, cela a certainement aidé à convaincre Wim à participer.
Leur relais portait le nom de "Northern Hearts" (les coeurs du Nord) et se composait de Joel, Mariska & Wim. C'est Joel qui a commencé avec les 3 km de natation en mer, suivi par Wim et les 116 km de VTT et enfin Mariska pu prendre le relais et faire ses 21 km de course à pied.
Ils ont été séduits et c'est clair que ce ne sera pas la dernière fois qu'ils y participeront.
Rendez-vous l'année prochaine pour les prochains exploits de Wim et ses équipiers.
During the first weekend of September, we went to the shores of the Black Sea, in a small town called Primorsko. This was our first time on the East coast of Bulgaria. We really enjoyed the region.
The reason of our stay was very specific: Wim had decided to participate, with 2 colleagues, into a ultra cross triathlon on the Saturday.
Lion's Heart was taking place in Primorsko for the the 4th edition and 2 staff members from our company, Ivena and Todor, are members of the organisation team. Obviously, that has certainly help to convince Wim to participate.
The relay team composed by Joel, Mariska and Wim was named: "Northern Hearts". It's Joel who started the first with the 3 km of swimming in the sea, followed by the 116 km of cross country cycling of Wim and finally the 21 km of jogging for Mariska.
They have really loved the experience and this is certainly not the last time they will participate.
So till next year to see which new challenges and members will compose the relay.
